In 2012, James Ryan began working with various members from previous bands on a new project. This project would mold into the highly respected Tampa based rock outfit, Sounds of Chaos. The project has received much acclamation and has shared the stage with such national acts such as: Saliva and Taproot. The band has also been a featured artist on Our City Radio, based out of Orlando, FL.

Their current album, “Systematic”, features musical guests from the bands: Underoath, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, and Saliva. Currently the band is in the process of recording their new album.

Life Scorn was the second project for James Ryan. As a vocalist and writer, he teamed up with the now Sounds of Chaos guitarist, David J. Susuico. Their dynamic writing style helped push the band to the top of the Florida music scene. Life Scorn received great acclaim, and had the opportunity to perform with various national acts such as: Flaw, Rehab, Psyco Stick, and many more.

James Ryan was the lead vocalist for several years for one of Tampa's top rock group MS. The project saw strong success as their singles “Illusions” and “Fallen” were featured on radio stations such as: 97x, 98 Rock, several stations in NY, and various stations in West Virginia. In 2004, James Ryan was recognized as the #1 vocalist worldwide on Broad Jam. After several tours and countless shows, James Ryan parted with the project.
